Our Lady of the Ridge parish offers quality religious formation for all our parish children. ER ministry focuses on children kindergarten through eighth grade providing sessions that promote spiritual identity, Christian community building and understanding of the Catholic doctrine in an age appropriate manner. We believe that faith is not taught but “caught” by children witnessing lived faith through life experience.
Sessions meet on Sundays starting in September through May at 9am until 11am meeting every other week. The ER sessions are not in any way to take the place of regular Sunday Mass attendance. Family participation at liturgy is an essential component to the child’s complete sense of pride in his/her Catholic identity. Priest, DRE and Catechist are all available to enhance the faith instruction already being modeled in the home by parents, who are the primary instructors of the faith to their children.
Registration is open to all parishioners who embrace a Stewardship way of life. Simply, stated stewardship is putting Jesus first in all aspects of our daily life. Stewardship obliges good stewards to live a life gratefully giving of time, talent and treasure. It is expected that families attend Mass on a regular basis, strive to offer their giftedness to the ministries of the parish and strive to tithe of their treasure to support the parish.
